On July 3 and July 10, 2025, Ambassador Cui Aimin visited four traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnosis and treatment centers to gain insight into the development of TCM in Sweden and exchange views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in this field.
Ambassador Cui commended the centers for their active efforts in promoting TCM exchanges and for their dedication to enhancing friendship between Chinese and Swedish peoples. He highlighted TCM as an important component of China’s outstanding traditional culture, embodying the wisdom of the Chinese people and their philosophy and practices in maintaining health and wellness. He emphasized that the entire humanity will stand to benefit as the unique advantages of TCM are fully utilized, its cultural impact expanded, and international collaboration strengthened. He expressed hope that the centers would utilize their respective strengths to deepen exchanges and collaboration, and make more contributions to the health and well-being of Chinese and Swedish peoples and the friendship between the two peoples.
Representatives of the centers expressed their commitment to continuously promoting TCM culture, actively participating in the exchanges and cooperation in this field, and further advancing the development of TCM.
