On July 29, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Hon. Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah, Liberian Minister of Labour.

Yin briefed on China-Liberia relations and the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators on the Implementation of the Outcomes of the Beijing Summit of FOCAC (Forum on China-Africa Cooperation). Yin noted thst the Chinese side is willing to enhance practical exchanges and cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, promote the development of economic and trade ties between China and Liberia, particularly by supporting Chinese enterprises operating in Liberia, and further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Kruah expressed gratitude for China's long-term support for Liberia's development, and stated Liberia's desire to further strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as labor management and training to advance Liberia's national development agenda.
