On 12 August, Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, paid a courtesy call on Amb. Amadou Hassane Mai Dawa, Permanent Representative of Niger to the AU.

Amb. Jiang spoke highly of the traditional friendship between China and Niger, and expressed his readiness to work together with Niger and the African side to build an an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

Amb. Amadou said that Niger regards cooperation with China as the priority, and appreciated China for its long-standing strong support to Niger. He expressed his willingness to strengthen communication, coordination and cooperation with Amb. Jiang.
