On August 14, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen met with Rachel Zozobrado, Davao City Councilor and Chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on International Relations.

Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen introduced the friendly exchanges between China and Davao, stating that both sides should make joint efforts to enhance communication and advance cooperation across various fields. Atty. Zozobrado stated that Davao City has forged sister-city ties with multiple Chinese cities and stands ready to deepen practical collaboration with the Chinese side, particularly in tourism development, agricultural technology, and infrastructure projects.
