On 15th August, H.E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo met with recipients of the Chinese Government Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Ambassador Xiao congratulated the students on receiving the Chinese Government Scholarship to pursue their studies in China. He expressed his hope that they would not only diligently learn the professional knowledge, but also gain a deeper understanding of China's history, culture, and development path. Ambassador Xiao encouraged them to fully leverage their role as a bridge and bond, so as to contribute their energy to the friendship between the peoples of China and Brunei as well as to the building of a China- Brunei community with a Shared Future.

The students expressed their gratitude to the Embassy for receiving them, and noted that they are honored to be granted this valuable opportunity provided by the Chinese government. They pledged to cherish their time in China, study hard and actively contribute their full efforts to the development of Brunei-China relations.
