On September 11, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen met with a delegation led by the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Aquaculture of the 21st City Council of Davao.The delegation included Chairperson Ralph O. Abella, Vice Chairperson Jose Marie Bernardo Baluran, and Councilor Al RyanAlejandre.

Consul General Zhao emphasized the fruitful outcomes of agricultural cooperation between China and the Philippines, noting that bilateral trade in agricultural products has brought tangible benefits to numerous households in both countries. She expressed her willingness to strengthen communication with the Davao City Council, give full play to complementary advantages, and further deepen and expand practical cooperation in the agricultural sector.
