On the morning of September 30,the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. H.E. Ambassador Chen Mingjian attended the event,together with Embassy staff and representatives from Chiese institutions.

At 9 o’clock,the flag-raising ceremony began with China’s national flag escorted by flag bearers to the flagpole.Then the flag was raised with China’s national anthem “March of the Volunteers” played and sung by everyone present who was saluting. Finally everyone sang the patriotic song “My people,My Country”,wishing our motherland enjoy prosperity and people live in harmony.
