On 14th October, H.E. Mr. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam,  met with Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II. Mr. Shi Rongke, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy participated in the above meeting.

Ambassador Xiao congratulated Dato Dr. Amin Liew on his successful visit to the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), and expressed willingness to work together to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, strengthen economic cooperation through the Brunei-Guangxi Economic Corridor, and continuously to inject new impetus into bilateral cooperation.

Dato Dr. Amin Liew briefed his visit and the important outcomes achieved, and hoped to further strengthen coordination and collaboration with China, explore new areas of growth for the benefit of people of both countries.
