Chinese Ambassador to Canada Wang Di Attends the Annual Meeting of the Canada China Chamber of Commerce

On October 14, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Canada H.E. Wang Di attended and delivered a speech at the Annual Meeting of the Canada China Chamber of Commerce (CCCC).

Ambassador Wang said that Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had a phone conversation and then an in-person meeting this year, reaching important consensus to mutually improve and develop bilateral relations. China-Canada relations including bilateral economic and trade cooperation have enjoyed a positive momentum of steady and healthy development, bringing new opportunities for Chinese enterprises operating in Canada. CCCC is expected to play an active role by working closely with Chinese enterprises in Canada to correctly assess the evolving situation, enhance internal strength, increase external communication, provide constructive advice and recommendations, conduct thorough risk assessments, and contribute more positive outcomes to China-Canada practical economic and trade cooperation.

CCCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting business and investment cooperation between China and Canada. It is composed of Chinese enterprises in Canada, as well as Canadian companies with close ties to the Chinese market. CCCC’s board of directors convenes annually to review its work. Its membership includes approximately 150 institutions across various sectors. The total investment represented by its members accounts for over 90 percent of all Chinese investment in Canada.
