On November 15, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia has organized the 4th Ambassador Cup Badminton Invitational for Media in Kuala Lumpur. Present to speak were H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, Malaysia's Youth and Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan's representative, and Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) Deputy Secretary-General Chan Hong Jin. 80 contestants, representing about 20 of Malaysia's mainstream media entities and other invited parties joined the tournament.

Ambassador Ouyang said that the journey towards the next golden jubilee of China-Malaysia relations has begun this year, which saw President Xi Jinping making state visit to Malaysia again after 12 years. He added that high-level exchanges between both countries remain close, while exchanges and cooperation across various fields continue to strengthen, opening a new chapter in building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future. He called on the media to continue playing their role as witnesses and reporters of China-Malaysia relations' historic moments, so as to carry on the China-Malaysia traditional friendship and forge closer ties.

KBS Deputy Secretary-General Chan Hong Jin commended Chinese Embassy in Malaysia for its unremitting efforts and positive attainment in enhancing Malaysia-China friendship and cooperation through sporting events such as the Ambassador Cup.
