On 19 November, the Chinese Consulate General in Belfast hosted an Open Day. Consul General Mr. Li Nan attended and delivered a speech. Over 80 guests participated in the event, including members from the Poyntzpass Pumas Basketball Club and the Visiting China Student Group and their parents.

Consul General Li elaborated on the key messages of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He congratulated on the successful visit to China and noted that it was a rich and practical friendship journey, which deepened understanding and brought people closer together. In recent years, educational and cultural cooperation between China and Northern Ireland has grown steadily, injecting vitality into our relations. More visiting China programs will be carried out in the future. He expressed hope that young people in Northern Ireland would actively serve as envoys of cultural and people-to-people exchanges and contribute youthful strength to the development of bilateral relations.
