Ambassador Ouyang said that helping those in need is a shared virtue of both Chinese and Islamic civilization. For quite some years, the Chinese Embassy has been working closely with the Malaysia's governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support various welfare and aid programs, while conveying the goodwill of the Chinese government and people.
The eyeglasses donation aims to support the healthy development of Malaysia’s next generation and contribute to the country’s educational endeavors, with hopes to help them see more clearly and learn with less strain as they contribute to writing a new chapter of the friendship between China and Malaysia.
