On December 3, 2025, Mr. Wan Degang, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden, met with Chairman of Sweden-China Trade Council (SCTC) Ulf Pehrsson and other board members. Mr. Wan introduced the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and they exchanged views on China–Sweden economic and trade cooperation.

Mr. Wan provided a comprehensive overview of the great significance and major achievements of the Fourth Plenary Session, and highlighted the strategic plans and key measures for promoting high-standard opening up and creating new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation. He commended the important contributions SCTC has made to advance bilateral economic and trade cooperation. He stressed that China’s development will bring new opportunities to the world and that the Chinese side is willing to join hands with the Swedish business community to build an even brighter future for China–Sweden economic and trade cooperation.

The guests spoke highly of China’s remarkable achievements in economic and social development. They expressed full confidence in China’s future and stated their willingness to continue cultivating the Chinese market and promote new and greater progress in Sweden–China economic and trade cooperation.
