Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin Meets with Minister Plenipotentiary Abdulaziz Saud AlJarallah Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Affairs

On 14 January 2026, Ambassador of China to Kuwait Yang Xin met with Minister Plenipotentiary Abdulaziz Saud AlJarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Affairs of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Yang stated that China and Kuwait have maintained sound coordination and cooperation in international multilateral affairs, and that both countries are steadfast supporters and practitioners of multilateralism. He expressed China’s readiness to further strengthen communication and collaboration with Kuwait to jointly uphold the authority of the United Nations and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, and to safeguard international fairness and justice.

Assistant Foreign Minister Abdulaziz welcomed Ambassador Yang to his new post and noted that Kuwait and China share broad consensus in international multilateral affairs. He noted that His Highness Sheikh Mishal the Emir of Kuwait has explicitly expressed support for the four global initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping. Kuwait stands ready to enhance communication and cooperation with China within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations, jointly uphold the fundamental norms governing international relations, and contribute to the progress of mankind.
