Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin Meets with Ambassador Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Baker Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab World Affairs

On 15 January 2026, Ambassador of China to Kuwait Yang Xin met with Ambassador Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Baker Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab World Affairs of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Yang stated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and leaders of Arab states, China-Arab relations have witnessed rapid development and entered the best period in history. He expressed that China is ready to work with Kuwait and other Arab countries to further enhance strategic mutual trust, deepen cooperation across various fields, and jointly build a China-Arab community with a shared future at a higher level.

Ambassador Ahmad welcomed Ambassador Yang to his new post and stated that the friendly relations between Arab countries and China have grown stronger over time, characterized by mutual understanding and mutual support. He commended the fruitful outcomes achieved by the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum mechanism over the years and expressed Kuwait’s support for China in hosting the Second China-Arab States Summit this year. Kuwait is willing to work jointly with China to ensure the summit achieves complete success.
