On January 23, China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) hosted its Annual General Meeting and 2025 Annual Dinner, for which Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim sent a congratulatory message. Present to speak were H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing and Minister of Transport of Malaysia, Anthony Loke Siew Fook. Also present were Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture of Malaysia, Tiong King Sing and Political Secretary to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Chan Ming Kai, along with representatives from government agencies, local associations, the media, and CECCM members, among over 600 guests.

Prime Minister Anwar commended CECCM for the role it plays, and encouraged the chamber to continue its efforts to further strengthen cooperation with Malaysia and drive mutually beneficial win-win growth.
Ambassador Ouyang commended CECCM for its achievements in the past year, saying that in 2025, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Malaysia relations have achieved new leaps. Bilateral economic and trade cooperation has welcomed better stability and predictability, with trade and investment demonstrating resilience and vitality. He expressed hope that CECCM will unite and lead Chinese enterprises in Malaysia to make new contributions to the development of China-Malaysia relations.
The annual meeting also saw results announcement and member recognition award ceremony, among other agendas.
