On December 22nd, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands, met representatives of Chinese companies in the Netherlands.

Ambassador Shen highlighted the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the recommendation for the 15th Five-Year Plan.
Ambassador Shen recognized the contribution of Chinese companies in the Netherlands and called on the companies to continue the business operation in compliant with the laws and regulations, fulfill the social responsibility and build positive public images. He requested the Chinese companies to strengthen safety awareness and prevent risks, and to enhance industry self-discipline to avoid “involution” competition.
Ambassador Shen encouraged the companies to further demonstrate the responsibility and commitment by contributing to the development of China–Netherlands economic and trade cooperation.
Ambassador Shen said that the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands will fulfill the commitment of serving the people through diplomacy and protect the lawful rights of Chinese citizens and companies in the Netherlands.
Representatives from China Southern Airline, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China and other 8 companies in the Netherlands attended the meeting.
