On February 6th, H.E. Shen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands, attended and delivered a speech at the 2026 Chinese New Year Reception for the business community, jointly hosted in Amsterdam by the Netherlands China Business Council and the Netherlands Hong Kong Business Association. Ambassador Shen extended New Year greetings to representatives of the Chinese and Dutch business communities and stated that China and the Netherlands are important trading partners. Shen noted that China is willing to work with the Netherlands to further deepen pragmatic cooperation across various fields and promote the steady growth of bilateral relations, including economic and trade cooperation. Around 200 representatives from the Dutch government, the Hong Kong SAR government and the business communities from both China and the Netherlands attended the event.
