On March 5, on behalf of H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Consul General in Penang Zhou Youbin attended the 2025 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship Award Ceremony at Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC). Also present were more than 100 people, including Executive Advisor of Penang Han Chiang Associated Chinese Schools Association and Honorary Chancellor of HCUC Tan Sri Dato' Seri Tan Kok Ping, Chairman of Penang Han Chiang Associated Chinese Schools Association Dato' Seri Hong Yeam Wah, Acting Vice-Chancellor of HCUC Mdm. Khoo Gim Hoon, and representatives of faculty and students.

Consul General Zhou congratulated the award-winning students, encouraged them to study hard, improve their skills and contribute to China-Malaysia friendship. He said that in 2025, the two countries announced the joint building of a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, as a result, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Malaysia will continue to promote educational cooperation between the two countries to new heights, building stronger bonds for people-to-people exchanges.
