On March 9, Chinese Consul General in Penang Zhou Youbin met with Dr. Hisham, the newly appointed Director of Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), and his delegation. Also present were Dean of School of Languages, Civilisation and Philosophy, Dr. Khadafi, and Dean of Islamic Business Studies Center, Dr. Selamah, etc.

Dr. Hisham introduced UUM's cooperation with Chinese universities and the learning and living conditions of the Chinese students in UUM. He hopes to further strengthen the ties with Chinese universities.

Consul General Zhou expressed his gratitude to UUM for supporting China-Malaysia educational exchanges. He said the Consulate General is willing to maintain communication with UUM to ensure the study of Chinese students and further deepen educational cooperation between China and Malaysia.
