On March 7, Consul General Qin Jie and Deputy Consul General Wang Awei attended a Chinese cultural exhibition and the award ceremony for outstanding teachers and students of Netaji Subhas Medical Institute, organized by the Maharashtra branch of the India-China Friendship Association (ICFA).

Mr. Qin said that the Maharashtra branch of ICFA has long been dedicated to the cause of China-India friendly cooperation, contributing to the enhancement of mutual understanding between the two peoples. Under the new circumstances, the significance and role of China-India cooperation have become increasingly prominent, and exchanges between the two sides have further strengthened. He hoped that friends and young students would take this opportunity to continue fostering people-to-people connectivity between China and India.

Mr. Qin and his colleagues also visited the wife of Mr. Fernandes, the founder of Maharashtra Branch of the ICFA.
