On March 6, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan attended the panel discussions on women's leadership during the International Women's Day event hosted by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and the UN Resident Coordinator's Office.

She expounded on major initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping during the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women last year. Sharing her observations of China's development and the practice of Chinese modernization, Ambassador Jiang reiterated China's willingness to work with North Macedonia to further advance the global cause of women and promote their all-round development. She also answered questions on cooperation between China and Balkan countries under the Belt and Road Initiative, the capacity of diplomats and advised on students' career planning.
