On 3 April, the Consulate-General of China in Sydney held a "Safe Study Abroad" Event for Chinese international students across New South Wales. H.E. Consul General Wang Yu delivered remarks and presented awards to winners of the essay competition “My Vision for the 15th Five-Year Plan”. Representatives from relevant local institutions were present to offer guidance and answer students’ questions, the event attracted over 300 new students.

H.E. Consul General Wang Yu highlighted China’s remarkable development achievements, delivered care and high expectations for overseas students, and expressed his sincere hope that the students strengthen their awareness of safety, remain vigilant against telecommunications fraud and other security risks, grow up safely in good health, and grow into capable individuals to make meaningful contributions on the global stage.
