On May 13, Chinese Embassy in Dominica hosted an Open House event for children. About 50 guests, including Dominican Foreign Minister Hon. Dr. Vince Henderson, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local teachers and students, visited the Embassy. Chinese Ambassador H.E. Chu Maoming, all diplomats in Chinese Embassy, and teachers from the Confucius Classroom also attended the event.

In his remarks, Ambassador Chu warmly welcomed the guests, briefly introduced the work of diplomats and the latest progress in China–Dominica cooperation, and encouraged the children to dream big, study hard, and grow up happily so they could one day become a new generation carrying forward the friendship between China and Dominica.
In his speech, Minister Henderson said that China is a good friend of Dominica and noted that the playground facilities used by children in their community were donated by China. He said that visiting the Embassy and communicating with the Chinese Ambassador and diplomats was a rare opportunity, and encouraged the children to experience and appreciate Chinese culture with open hearts.
During the event, the visiting teachers and students watched a video highlighting China–Dominica relations, listened attentively as a young diplomat in Chinese Embassy shared his work experiences and reflections, and actively participated in activities such as Chinese calligraphy and Hanfu clothing experiences, enjoying a memorable and meaningful day.
