On May 27, Ambassador Kang Yan paid a courtesy call to Mr. Borut Pahor, former President of the Republic of Slovenia. They exchanged in-depth views on China-EU and China-Slovenia relations, the Taiwan question, major-country relations and regional hotspot issues.

Mr. Pahor spoke highly of China's achievements in economic and social development as well as its status as a major country, and expressed readiness to continue playing an active role in advancing the sound and steady development of China-EU and China-Slovenia relations.
