20 August 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles Ms. Lin Nan held working discussions with Mr. Sebastien Pillay, Vice President of Seychelles, as well as the Secretaries of State and Principal Secretaries responsible for portfolios including information and communications technology, science and technology, digital transformation, land, housing, infrastructure, poverty reduction, and risk and disaster management.

The Ambassador said China stands ready to strengthen exchanges, expand practical cooperation and advance bilateral relations. The Seychellois side expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with China for the benefit of the two peoples.
