On 28th August 2026, Chinese Ambassador Lin Nan attended the Panda House Opening Day and Sending off Ceremony for the Independent School Delegation’s China Study Tour. The event was attended by 36 students and teachers from Independent School, two winners of the 2026 Youth Essay Competition organised by the Chinese Association of Seychelles, as well as the parents of these students.

Ambassador Lin welcomed all invitees to the Panda House. She encouraged the participants to make the most of their upcoming trip to Sichuan, experience China’s development firsthand, and serve as envoys of China and Seychelles friendship to advance bilateral cultural exchanges.

Highlighted by a photo exhibition and immersive traditional cultural experiences, the event concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
