On 1st September 2026, Chinese Ambassador Ms. Lin Nan attended the sending off ceremony for six students from the Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT), who will take part in an electric vehicle training programme in Jining, China.

Ambassador Lin, together with Mr. David Pierre, Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, presented air tickets to the students.
