On the morning of April 17, 2025, President Xi Jinping concluded his state visit to Malaysia.

Upon departing from Kuala Lumpur, Xi Jinping was seen off at the airport by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Foreign Minister Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, accompanying minister and Minister of Transport Loke Siew Fook and other senior officials. Malaysian youth sang and danced, while personnel from local Chinese-funded enterprises, Chinese students, and overseas Chinese gathered on both sides of the road and waved the national flags of China and Malaysia, extending warm congratulations on the complete success of Xi Jinping's visit to Malaysia.
