On the afternoon of May 28, 2025, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council returned to Beijing by chartered plane after wrapping up his official visit to Indonesia and attendance at the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit in Malaysia.

Upon departing from Kuala Lumpur, Li Qiang was seen off at the airport by Malaysian Minister of Transport Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing, and Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN Hou Yanqi, among others.
