On July 29, 2025, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the World Youth Conference for Peace.

Xi Jinping noted that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Eighty years ago, the Chinese people, together with people around the world, through arduous and bloody battles, completely defeated fascism and won the hard-earned peace.

Xi Jinping emphasized that the future of peace lies with the youth. He hopes that young people from all countries will take this conference as an opportunity to exchange ideas, deepen understanding, make friends, and work together as advocates of peace and actors in peaceful development, contributing their wisdom and strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.

The World Youth Conference for Peace was held in Beijing on the same day, with the theme "Together for Peace", co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the All-China Youth Federation.
