Over the past 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal, the two countries have always respected each other, treated each other as equals, and engaged in mutually beneficial cooperation regardless of changes in the international and regional landscape, setting an example of friendly coexistence between countries with different social systems and of different sizes. KP Sharma Oli said that Nepal and China have consistently developed friendly relations on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.
