On the morning of November 14, 2025, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council met at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing with King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand, who is on a state visit to China.

Li Qiang stated that China and Thailand are good relatives, good friends, and good partners. This morning, President Xi Jinping held a meeting with King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, reaching important common understandings on further deepening China-Thailand relations. China and Thailand are as close as one family. China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with Thailand, consolidate good-neighborliness and friendship, firmly support each other, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, achieve more results in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future, and bring greater benefits to the two peoples.

Li Qiang noted that the economies of China and Thailand are highly complementary. China is ready to continue to expand the scale of bilateral trade and two-way investment with Thailand, and explore cooperation in emerging fields such as green economy, artificial intelligence and aerospace. Given the geographical proximity and cultural affinity between China and Thailand, both sides should deepen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as culture and tourism to lay a solid foundation for friendship between the two peoples.

Noting that Thailand and China have a profound traditional friendship, Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua said that bilateral cooperation in various fields has produced fruitful results and enjoys broad prospects. Thailand highly appreciates the tremendous achievements China has made in economic and social development in recent years, and is willing to strengthen friendly exchanges with China, deepen practical cooperation, and move forward hand in hand on the path of common development.
