Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:
I. Jing Quan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Philippines, replacing Huang Xilian.
II. Shen Bo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, replacing Tan Jian.
III. Jiang Wei (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, replacing Zhang Yanling (female).
IV. Li Xiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mali, replacing Chen Zhihong.
V. Yang Xin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the State of Kuwait, replacing Zhang Jianwei.
VI. Zhao Yong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Sierra Leone, replacing Wang Qing.
VII. Kang Yan (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Slovenia, replacing Wang Shunqing.
VIII. Yang Yirui was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Portugal, replacing Zhao Bentang.
IX. Jia Guide was appointed Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland, replacing Chen Xu.
