Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming: Foreign Guests Attending Commemoration on September 3 Are Broadly Representative

On the morning of August 25, 2015, at the special press conference on the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held by the Information Office of the State Council, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming expressed upon inquiry that China had deeply suffered foreign invasion in modern times, therefore, for a long time, the deepest aspiration of the Chinese people is to eliminate war and enjoy peace. Since the very beginning, China has stated that its purpose of holding the commemoration is to remember the history, cherish the martyr, treasure peace and open up the future.
