Li Keqiang Visits Musée Rodin Together with Prime Minister Manuel Valls of France, Emphasizing Being "Thinkers" of China-France Innovative Cooperation

On the evening of June 30 local time, Premier Li Keqiang who was paying an official visit to France visited the Musée Rodin accompanied by Prime Minister Manuel Valls of France.

Accompanied by the Director of the Musée Rodin, the two prime ministers walked along a gravel path to the front of the main building of the museum, and the world-renowned masterwork of the famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin, “The Thinker”, appeared vividly before them. In the exhibition hall, the two prime ministers stopped to watch a series of works of art. Li Keqiang listened to the introduction carefully and talked with the celebrities present from French culture and art circles.

Li Keqiang said that art is to transcend life and surpass traditional thinking. Auguste Rodin inherited the tradition and had the courage and imagination to break through the tradition. The mankind just needs imagination to innovate, produce and achieve breakthroughs.

Manuel Valls said that France-China cooperation possesses lasting vitality because it is the cooperation between two major innovative civilizations in the world.

Li Keqiang said that the China-France relations have achieved a new breakthrough during this visit along its way of constantly creating the “first”. The two governments jointly issued a joint statement on third-party market cooperation, opening up a new world for China-France cooperation. People with visions from all walks of life of the two countries are expected to be the “Thinkers” of China-France innovative cooperation and push China-France practical cooperation to continuously achieve new breakthroughs.
