On the afternoon of 17 November 2015, the Press Center of the Chinese Delegation invited Mr. Ning Gaoning, Co-chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) and Chairman of COFCO Corporation, to brief the Chinese and foreign journalists on the recent ABAC meeting and the role of the Chinese enterprises in advancing the process toward the eventual realization of the FTAAP and connectivity. He also answered questions on the opportunities that connectivity brings to the APEC economies and enterprises, the role of the Chinese companies in the Asia-Pacific, and the theme of this year's APEC "Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World".

Ning Gaoning said that ABAC has worked hard this year to follow up on the important outcomes produced at last year's Beijing APEC, and made positive progress. Connectivity broadens the horizon of development and generates enormous business opportunities for enterprises of China and other Asia-Pacific countries. Advancing the FTAAP process will facilitate the building of inclusive economies and deliver benefits to all.
