On November 29, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with President Vladimir Putin of Russia at the Kremlin in Moscow.

Li Keqiang firstly conveyed President Xi Jinping's sincere greetings and best wishes to President Vladimir Putin, and expressed that President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin met successfully in Da Nang, Vietnam not long after the conclusion of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination steadily moves forward.

Li Keqiang pointed out that the current economic cooperation between the two countries is taking a solid step. The two sides have continued to push forward cooperation in such traditional fields as economy, trade, energy, aviation, transport infrastructure, production capacity equipment and agriculture, and also achieved progress in new areas such as digital economy, technological innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises, showing that bilateral cooperation shares great potential and broad prospects. China is willing to enhance the docking of the "Belt and Road" initiative with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), not only play well the leading role in traditional cooperation areas, but focus on effect of new growth drivers in emerging areas, tap the development potential in the Far East and expand the scale of cross-border trade, so as to better benefit the two peoples.

Li Keqiang stressed that China is willing to work with Russia to strengthen communication and coordination on international affairs, cement cooperation within multilateral frameworks including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and jointly help regional cooperation seek improvement in stability, so as to inject constructive force into the peaceful development of the world.

Vladimir Putin welcomed Li Keqiang to attend the meeting of SCO Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) in Russia. He expressed that the maintenance of frequent high-level exchanges and communication between Russia and China fully demonstrates the stability and high level of the development of bilateral relations. The two governments and relevant cooperation mechanisms have played an important guiding role in bilateral practical cooperation. At present, both sides have enjoyed a sound growth momentum in trade, and actively pushed forward cooperation in such areas as energy, transportation infrastructure, agriculture and locality. The EEU and the "Belt and Road" initiative are complementary to each other. It is hoped that both sides could well integrate development strategies and better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Both sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
