On the morning of December 1, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Sapar Isakov of Kyrgyzstan at the hotel where he stayed in Sochi.
Li Keqiang said that China and Kyrgyzstan are friendly neighbors and strategic partners, and consider each other's development as opportunities. China will support the development path independently chosen by Kyrgyzstan as always, maintain high-level exchanges, and work together to push bilateral relations and cooperation for constant development. It is hoped that both sides could continue abiding by market-oriented principles, speed up the advancement of relevant cooperation in cross-border transportation infrastructure, jointly promote regional connectivity, and facilitate cross-border trade and cargo transportation. The Chinese side is willing to continuously strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, agriculture, energy and other fields with Kyrgyzstan, so as to jointly create convenient conditions for bilateral personnel exchanges.
Sapar Isakov expressed that China is a reliable strategic cooperative partner of Kyrgyzstan, and bilateral practical cooperation is steadily advanced with a sound momentum. The country thanks China's support to its economic and social development, and stands ready to, together with China, maintain high-level exchanges, enhance cooperation in transportation infrastructure, energy, agriculture, finance, e-government affairs and other fields, and push forward the development of Kyrgyzstan-China relations with all its efforts, in a bid to benefit the two peoples.
