On the afternoon of November 30, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan at the hotel where he stayed in Sochi.
Li Keqiang said that China and Tajikistan are sincere and friendly neighbors with mutual trust. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China-Tajikistan diplomatic relations, and China is full of confidence in the continuous advancement of bilateral relations. The Chinese side is willing to better integrate the "Belt and Road" initiative with Tajikistan's development strategies, well implement relevant production capacity cooperation projects, discuss cooperation in transportation infrastructure and other fields, and assist Tajikistan's industrialization process, regional connectivity and trade facilitation. China stands ready to, together with Tajikistan, carry out cooperation in modernized agriculture and improve cooperation quality, in a bid to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Qohir Rasulzoda expressed that as good neighbors and good partners, Tajikistan and China enjoy all-round cooperation. No matter in the past, present or future, developing its relations with China is always a priority of Tajikistan's diplomatic policy. The Tajik side thanks China for supporting its economic development, and welcomes China to continue participating in its important projects on the development of electric power, natural gas pipelines, transportation and other fields. The two countries should advance regional connectivity construction, speed up production capacity cooperation in such industries as chemistry, metallurgy and architectural materials, and expand cooperation in processing and trading of agricultural products. Tajikistan stands ready to offer preferential policies to Chinese enterprises.
