Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev of Kazakhstan

On the morning of December 1, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev of Kazakhstan at the hotel where he stayed in Sochi.

Li Keqiang expressed that China and Kazakhstan are comprehensive strategic partners with high mutual trust. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries, and is also another harvest year for the development of bilateral relations. China is glad to see that production capacity cooperation between both countries has achieved fruitful early harvest. It is hoped that both sides could continuously make joint efforts to implement the various consensus already reached, and enhance sorting of relevant outcomes and experience, and promote bilateral practical cooperation, especially production capacity cooperation to move forward with a larger pace. China is ready to enhance cooperation in such areas as economy and trade, and green agriculture with Kazakhstan, and hopes Kazakhstan to make further efforts to elevate the level of facilitation for bilateral personnel exchanges, and create favorable conditions for enterprise cooperation between both sides.

Bakhytzhan Sagintayev expressed that Kazakhstan is satisfied with the outcomes achieved from bilateral relations. Bilateral production capacity cooperation is a successful example of bilateral economic cooperation, which provides strong impetus for the comprehensive development of bilateral relations. The first Kazakhstan-China Local Cooperation Forum has been successfully held this year, expanding new areas for bilateral cooperation. Kazakhstan is willing to actively well implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, and create favorable conditions for further advancing production capacity cooperation, so as to promote practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries for continuous development.
