Zhou Jue

Mr. Zhou Jue, born in April 1927 in Hengnan County, Hunan Province, served as Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1984 to 1986 and Ambassador (vice-ministerial level) of China.

After completion of overseas posting and returning to China, Mr. Zhou Jue served as Deputy Chief of the International Communication Group of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Minister of the Information Office of the State Council. He became Member of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National People's Congress in March 1993.
