On August 21, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Hong Lei accepted respectively the copies of credentials presented by newly-appointed Ambassador of Guinea to China Louncény Condé, and newly-appointed Ambassador of the Netherlands to China Joep Wijnands, who arrived in China on August 19 and August 20 respectively.
