On September 22, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin, upon invitation, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in China for the National Foundation Day and Armed Forces Day.

In his remarks, Liu Bin extended holiday congratulations to the ROK side, saying that China is ready to work with the ROK to implement the important common understandings reached by the two heads of state, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the sustained, sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

ROK Ambassador to China Ro Jae-hun said that the ROK attaches importance to the development of ROK-China relations and stands ready to expand areas of cooperation with China, enhance people-to-people bonds, and contribute to the respective development of the two countries and common prosperity in the region.
