Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu Attends the Handover Ceremony of Grants Donation to the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation of Iran

On August 26, the handover ceremony of grants donation by the Chinese Embassy in Iran to the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation of Iran was held at the aforementioned foundation. The relevant small grants will be used to support some Iranian students who have faced difficulties due to the war to continue their studies. Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu and president of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation Morteza Bakhtiari attended the ceremony.

Ambassador Cong stated that China holds high the banner of building a community with a shared future for mankind, actively fulfills its international humanitarian obligations, and provides assistance to the best of its ability to the growth and education of Iranian youth affected by war. At the same time, China will continue to play a constructive role in restoring peace and stability in the Middle East.

Bakhtiari expressed gratitude to China for consistently upholding a fair and just stance on international occasions and providing valuable support for Iran's cultural and educational development.

Representatives of the students receiving the grants expressed their gratitude to China for its assistance, stating that they would study diligently, enhance their skills, and actively serve as inheritors of the friendship between China and Iran.
