On August 20, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Mission of China to the African Union Mr. Zhang Wei met with Mr. Ahmed Zanya Bugre, Senior Advisor to the AUC Commissioner for Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development. The two sides exchanged views on issues including migration and social development. 

Mr. Zhang introduced China’s experience in pursuing Chinese modernization and the CPC’s people-centered approach to development. Mr. Bugre commended China’s achievements in Chinese path to modernization and expressed willingness to deepen exchanges between the two sides on governance experience to benefit the people of Africa and China.
