On April 10, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia met with Hon. Geraldine George, Acting Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Liberia. The two sides exchanged views on China-Liberia relations and promoting military and security cooperation between China and Liberia.

Ambassador Yin introduced the current China-Liberia relations, saying that China attaches great importance to relationship between the two militaries of China and Liberia and is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Liberia in the field of peace and security.

Acting Minister George expressed her gratitude to China for its long-term support and assistance to the Liberia and Liberian military and hoped to strengthen cooperation with China to promote the development of relations between the two militaries.
