On June 1, 2022, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in China Kang Sang-wook. The two sides had candid and friendly exchanges on China-ROK relations and international and regional issues of common concern.

Director-General Liu Jinsong extended Children's Day greetings to the children of the ROK's Embassy in China and discussed with Minister Kang Sang-wook on further promoting China-ROK youth exchanges.
