A: Thanks to the concerted efforts of the two sides in Sudan as well as the international community, the Southern Sudan Referendum has been a smooth process, marking an important step towards an all-round implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. China welcomes this.

The Chinese observation mission has completed its work successfully. China is ready to work with the international community and relevant parties and continue to play a positive and constructive role for enduring peace, stability and development in Sudan.
