On February 25, 2025, Special Envoy Zhai Jun of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue, upon invitation, attended the Founding Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China. He had an exchange of views with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to China Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Harbi and Deputy Minister of Culture on bilateral relations, among others.
